About Us

The Financial Education Empowerment Charity Organization (FEECO) is a community-based non-profit initiative dedicated to provide Financial Literacy and Management Training, conducts research, and promote Financial Education in Ethiopia. Our primary goal is to equip the community with high-quality financial knowledge and ultimately improving socio-economic conditions of the society.
የፋይናንሻል ትምህርት ማጎልበቻ በጎ አድራጎት ድርጅት (FEECO) የፋይናንስ ትምህርት እና አስተዳደር ስልጠና ለመስጠት፣ ጥናትና ምርምር ለማካሄድ እና የፋይናንስን ትምህርትን በኢትዮጵያ የማስተዋወቅን አላማ ይዞ የምቀሳቀስ ለትርፍ ያልተቋቋመ ድርጅት ነው። ዋናው ግቡ ማህበረሰቡን ከፍተኛ ጥራት ያለው እና ጠቃሚ የፋይናንስ እውቀትን ማስታጠቅ ነው። በውጤቱም የህብረተሰቡን ኢኮኖሚያዊና ማህበራዊ ሁኔታ ማሻሻል ነው።

Vision

  • To create an educated, financially intelligent, self-reliant, and economically resilient society in Addis Ababa and beyond.
    ራዕያችን የተማረ፣ ብልህ የፋይናንስ ውሳኔ ሰጪ፣ በራሱ የሚተማመን እና በኢኮኖሚ የማይበገር ማህበረሰብ በአዲስ አበባ እና በሌሎች የአገሪቱ ክልሎች በዝቶ ማየት ነው።

Mission

  • FEECO’s mission is to improve living standards of community by providing quality & practical financial literacy training and counseling services.
    ጥራት ያለው እና ተግባራዊ የፋይናንስ ትምህርት ስልጠና እና የምክር አገልግሎት በመስጠት የማህበረሰብን የኑሮ ደረጃ ማሻሻል ነው።

Objectives

  • Enhance financial management skills among women, youth, and employees.
  • Support MSMEs with practical business finance management trainings.
  • Advocate financial education through research and innovation.

Target Group

  • Women: Empowering women through basic financial literacy, business skills, and investment knowledge to achieve independence and leadership in financial management.
                    ሴቶችን በመሰረታዊ የፋይናንስ እውቀትና የፋይናንስ አስተዳደር ስልጠና በመስጠት የንግድ እና የኢንቨስትመንት ዕውቀት ክህሎት አዳብረው ብቁ የፋይናንስ አስተዳደሪ እንዲሆኑ ማስቻል።
  • Youths: Equip the young people with basic financial literacy concepts, long-term financial management skills, and responsible financial future.
                   • ወጣቶችን በመሠረታዊ የፋይናንስ ትምህርት ፅንሰ-ሀሳቦች፣ የረዥም ጊዜ የፋይናንስ እቅድ አዘጋጃጀት ክህሎት እና ለወደፊት ህይወታቸው ኃላፊነት የሚወስዱበትን በቂ የፋይናንስ እውቀት እንዲታጠቁ ማድረግ።
  • Employees: Enhance the personal finance Management skill of employees by implementing structured training on Financial Planning and Behavioral Finance.
                   •በግል ፋይናንስ እቅድ እና በባህሪ ፋይናንስ ላይ የተዋቀረ ስልጠና በመስጠት የሰራተኞችን የግል ፋይናንስ አስተዳደር ክህሎትን ማሻሻል።
  • MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises): Strength the Financial Management capabilities of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) owners and finance officers by offering comprehensive, efficient, and practical education in business finance management.
                   •በንግድ እንቅስቃሴ ውስጥ ለሚገኙ የጥቃቅን፣ አነስተኛ እና መካከለኛ ኢንተርፕራዝ ባለቤቶችና ፋይናንስ ባለሙያዎች (MSMEs) የተሟላ፣ ውጤታማ እና ተግባራዊ) የፋይናንስ አስተዳደር ትምህርት በመስጠት የፋይናንስ አስተዳደር አቅማቸውን ማጎልበት።
